On June 30, 2023, amendments to the Decree establishing the Commercial Identification Numbers (NICO) were published in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
The amendments, in summary, are:
- 53 new NICO codes were added.
- 18 NICO codes were deleted.
- The note of Chapter 72 related to different steel types was modified.
- 2 new notes in Chapters 61 y 62 were added to define fabric cuts for the assembly or fabrication of pre-cut garments.
Of the 71 modifications, 36 are related to steel products, 12 to clothing products, 6 to feminine hygiene products, and 17 to other product types.
