Isaac Zatarain Valenzuela has joined TP Legal Group as a partner in the Mexico City office with the purpose of expanding the firm’s presence in the city and strengthening the real estate, corporate and environmental practice.
Prior to joining TP Legal Group, Isaac was an associate at Santamarina y Steta, S.C, and started his career as a paralegal at Baker McKenzie.
With over 12 years of professional experience, Isaac specializes in environmental and natural resources, energy and gas, and real estate law. Isaac has participated in national and international investment projects. Providing legal advice in various matters including clean energy and hospitality projects. He has also participated in environmental due diligence reviews to confirm the level of compliance of national companies with federal, state, and municipal environmental legislation. Likewise, he has advised companies from different industries in the development, implementation, operation, and closure of their businesses in Mexico.
He obtained his Law degree from “Universidad Autónoma de Baja California” and has a master’s degree from “Universidad de Estudios Ambientales” Mexico.
